The Race to Pebble Beach is back for 2012!
What is more cool then 4 kids getting to play Pebble Beach for FREE? NOTHING! This tournament series is unlike anything in the area and open for boys and girls ages 5-17! Any skill level is welcome as kids play age appropriate tees. These are 9-hole events, with the exception of the last tournament which is double points, and 18-holes. Their is an awards banquet with a Parent-Child tournament to end the year. These events are open to GRIP Members and Non-Members.

How it works?
The total field is divided in half by age. The oldest half are called the "PGA Division" with the younger half called the "Nationwide Division".
Once the kids are split, the oldest kids in the division are placed at tees that would be the longest. The rest of the division plays forward tees depending on age. The idea is to make all players play a yardage where they would all shoot the same scores. This "handicaps" the field and makes the tournaments very fun and competitive!
Yardages
Blue Tees - 3400 yards
White Tees - 3100 yards
Gold Tees - 2800 yards
Red Tees - 2600 yards
USKG Yellow - 1900 yards
USKG Blue - 1500 yards
USKG Green - 1100 yards
